Need a COVID-19 vaccine in Somerset County? What you need to know

SOMERVILLE – “Just be patient.”

That’s the advice Dr. Namitha Reddy, director of the Somerset County Department of Health, gave to county residents about the anxiety and confusion about receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.

“We are vaccinating as many doses we get a week,” Reddy said at Tuesday’s county commissioners meeting.

Somerset County is receiving 700 doses a week, Reddy said.

By Tuesday, the county had received 5,400 doses since the end of December from the federal government and had administered 4,000 doses. By the end of this week, with more clinics scheduled, 90% of the available vaccines will be given,

The real estate industry, which includes the rental and leasing sector, added 7,100 jobs in January on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to data released Friday by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Man accused of recording boys in bathroom pleads guilty

    OMAHA, Nebraska (WOWT) — A Council Bluffs man accused of secretly recording juvenile boys in the bathroom of his home has made a deal with the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Bottom line he won’t be getting out of federal prison anytime soon.

The allegations against Thomas Boatright are disturbing on a number of fronts. The teenage boys were in the United States as part of a foreign exchange program.

The defendant was the coordinator of the program helping line up the students with host families in addition to hosting two boys himself.
