Daisy May Cooper has been spreading love for her gal pals and encouraging others to do the same as she leans on her bestie following the collapse of her marriage.
The 34-year-old actress and screenwriter stunned fans last week when it was reported she had parted ways from her husband, Will Weston, after three years of marriage.
The This Country star and her husband have two children together – but reports suggested the marriage ended after the stress of lockdown life.
Now restrictions are over in England, Daisy has been getting glammed up to catch up with friends and has been sharing a message of ‘girl power’.
Late on Sunday night, the TV babe shared a snap of herself with a beauty therapist friend – whit the pair of them looking in high spirits.
Daisy posed in a simple black top, with a black chocker, light smokey eye make-up and her blonde locks cascading around her shoulders.
The star and her gal pal pouted as they posed as they looked like they were puckering up to affectionately kiss one another in a friendly manner.
Praising her friend, Daisy hinted Fiona had helped her through the good and the bad times throughout their shared history.
She wrote: “My best mate in the whole entire world, my mate that covered for me for snogging goths and drinking white lightening in the abbey grounds.
“The mate that smuggled my 10 Lambert and butler’s into her cleavage while we sprayed ourselves silly outside the science blocks with impulse.”
She then went on to describe Fiona as: “The girl that took one for the team” and described a sex act which may raise eyebrows for some.
Concluding her post, she added: “I love you @fionabrassey, you are my soul mate,” and encouraged followers to pay similar respects to their own best friends.
Daisy’s post attracted praise and laughs from followers – with Bake Off star Candice Brown among the commenters – sharing a crying-with-laughter emoji.
Daisy seems in good spirits as speculation about her marriage continues to swirl.
While reports emerged last week to suggest her relationship with Will was over, her mother-in-law has hit out to suggest the marriage is still intact.
Pati Weston, Will’s mother, told the MailOnline on Saturday: “It’s all a fabrication, it’s not true – I can’t say any more than that.”
Her comments came as paperwork from Companies House showed that Daisy had removed Will as a director of her media business.
But sources days earlier had told The Sun: “Daisy said she had grown increasingly tired of married life and was struggling in her relationship with Will.
They ended things for good earlier this year. She has taken off her wedding ring and has been telling her friends their marriage is over.
“She has also removed Will as a director on her media business. It’s been a tough 17 months for everyone and Daisy and Will were no exception.”
